Pat We have only a couple of inches of snow, it is so cold here. Last night the temp got down to -16 deg with wind chills in the -30's, and I am complaining. How is the new job going? I plan on staying home for Christmas, I have been gone so much this last few months that it will be nice to stay here.

Punkin Oh geez!! Now that's COLD. I hope you are keeping cozy at home. The job is okay so far, not too excited about it, but I'm working. They are just really unorganized, maybe I can fix 'em, but they seem to like it how things are. That'll be nice for you, staying home and relaxing. The kids can't wait for Christmas, they are very excited to speed time up to that date and then slow things down to enjoy it longer. I think this may be the last year for "Santa"...I'm sure they are doing their best to hang on. We'll bake him cookies and leave snacks for the reindeer.

Pat Hi there! The snow has come and gone for now, only had aboiut 20 inches last week, it has just about all melted. Have more on the way. How have you all been?

Punkin I've been good, still looking for work. I actually went today to apply at a couple grocery stores. I don't know what's happening there, I've got so much experience and good skills, it just doesn't make sense. I'm getting ready to go to San Jose Thursday. My nephews birthday was Sunday, so I've got to go and sing happy birthday to him :o)

Pat Hi things here have been real lazy. I haven't done a lot since iv'e been home, its just nice to relax again. Went gambling at Blackhawk yesterday only stayed about 4 hours lost $60 so came home. When is your sister moving? I bet they will miss you too. The weather here has really cooled down, is the time of year I like best.

Pat Just got home this afternoon, I'm glad to be here. Went to GJ the 20th of Aug so was really ready to come home. Mom is doing much better, she came home the 24th so hopefully she will continue to improve. Will be interesting to see how she does now that she will be by herself again. She got real dependant on me but was starting to do more so I felt kind of (not completley) comfortable leaving her.

Pat Hey, I have gotten rested up finally. Mom is doing pretty good. She is chomping at the bit to go home.

Pat Thank you for the birthday song. I got home about 2:30 this afternoon and it's sure feels good to be here even if it is just for a couple of weeks. Mom is at the rehab center now and she is not a happy camper!!!

Punkin So glad that you are home, safe and happy. I was wondering this morning if you were on the road. Poor Grandma.

Pat I'm about ready, will be back here on the 2nd or 3rd. Sounds like the beach is becoming your 2nd home.

Pat The books arre very good, I'm almost done with the 4th one. The sun is shinng now, but we are still having some rain showers in the aftermoon. Sound like it's really hot there. How is your week going?

Punkin Yes, I was saying 100+ in Vegas...shade = good...no shade = bad. My week is passing quickly, it's good. I just do the do I'm supposed to at work and get outta here. I am going to go to the gym after work today too...more sweating! My friend will meet me there this afternoon, so I'll have a buddy. I was looking at recipes for goodies because I want to make something for the reunion too, but ahead of time, so I don't have to bake in someones kitchen back home. I decided on lemon bars, rasberry bars and brownies...I always seem to over do it :o)

Pat Going for Mexican food tonight, nothing else planned so far. Sounds like you will be busy with the kids.

Punkin It's going...actually, not too slowly, which is good. I look for the "fast forward button" all day long.

Pat The yucky weather is gone for now. My week is flying by for some reason, they say the older you get the faster it goes.

Pat Hey, my week is going good. Will be ok if we don't get blown away by the tornados or pounded by the hail, sure has been scarey here. When do yu go to your reunion? Devynn was telling me about going to the reunion I think she is excited too.

Punkin I hope that nasty weather leaves you. It sounds scarey. The reunion is on the 4th of July. We are leaving the Thurs. evening to drive up to San Jose and will be there for 4 nights. Devynn's little eyes and face lit up when she realized that she and Cooper were going to be with us on the 4th, it made my heart smile. She has been asking lots of questions and wants to help.

Pat Morning, the sun and the water together will wear you out. You didn't mention if anyone caught any fish.

Punkin No fish, guess we were not in the best area for it. I did touch the yucky worms though..oh yah! Jason was proud, he said I didn't even "get girly" once. We'll have to go futher down the river next time for better fishing territory. We did some some floating dead fish...guess the Carp don't do well there and they don't know why (that's what the guy told Jason).

Pat Glad thoses bees were yours and not mine, you had enough of them. How did they get rid of them?

Punkin Jason was finally able to contact someone - afterhours er mngt. for the complex here. I think they had someone out here within the hour. He had the whole bee-suit gear on..man he had those bees flying around like crazy. No sign of them now. What a relief!

Pat Mine was Green and white, a friend of mine had a turqoise and white one that he had put a four on the floor in, so while he was working I use to park mine and drive his, ot was as lot more fun to drive.

Punkin Oh, so nice, your friends must have been a dream to drive. I love, love classic cars. I would like to one day be like Jay Leno and have a warehouse full.

Pat You realize that at the time I owned the car it was not a clasic , it was just a 1957 Chevy.
